Position Description

Makomi is seeking a detail oriented individual with dynamic problem solving skills and a passion for hospitable service. All applicants should have a strong desire to be involved with a true start-up company and have aspirations to help the company’s growth.

This position involves supporting a team of service providers while maintaining the overall cleanliness and condition of our clients homes. The successful candidate will assist in providing extraordinary service by responding to guest inquiries, requests, and operational needs.

The ideal candidate must be flexible and willing to work a combination of days, afternoons, nights, and weekends.  

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform normal housekeeping duties, while providing support to a team of service providers, including  providing feedback and quality control

  • Take care of day-to-day service tasks, such as fulfilling guest requests, managing property needs ranging from troubleshooting systems and appliances, quick cleanliness fixes, and minor maintenance challenges

  • Assist with Host and Guest communications when needed

  • Assist in stocking and control of supplies at the central office and residences throughout the city

  • Work closely with our operations team to conduct inspections of Host properties prior to Hosts return

  • Ensure all furniture, appliances, and amenities are clean and in working order

  • Report any maintenance issues  or damage to Host properties

  • Return company property and equipment to a central location

  • Assist with on-boarding new properties to be guest ready

  • Conduct special projects as assigned
